With the growth of the company, INTERPLAN enlarges its management team. Ms Marion Metzner and Mrs Ursula Lau-Thurner, who have served the company for many years, have been promoted as members of the Board of Management since March 1st 2009.

“This step was absolutely necessary to meet the requirements due to the fast growth of the company during the past years.” said Dr. Markus Preussner, Managing Director of INTERPLAN.

Furthermore, the staff at the headquarters in Munich has been reinforced recently. The section of hotel purchasing is now centralised under the direction of Ms Heike Störmer. Her previous job was at Maritim Hotel in Stuttgart. The Marketing and Sales Department has also been expanded and strengthened by Ms Sylvie Lohr, who had worked as a Congress & Event Manager for many years.

Despite the generally difficult economic situation, INTERPLAN is glad about the still increasing number of its permanent employees which has reached 60 now as well as about the continuing growth. “As we have succeeded in extending our core PCO business up to 70% in the meantime, we are very optimistic for the future.” said Mr Bruno Lichtinger, Managing Director of INTERPLAN.
